Welcome to the East London Furniture Institute (ELFI). Established as a centre of excellence in FURNITURE making and upholstery education.

ELFI builds on the values of LDE UTC, combining technical excellence with a clear focus on employability and progression.

ELFI offers three Programme Pathways into the furniture & upholstery industries:

• T Level Craft & Design
• AMUSF Diploma in upholstery
• Leisure & Specialist short courses

T Level
Craft & Design

A 2-year course for 16–19-year-olds, combining technical training with an industry placement to prepare students for craft & design careers.

An industry-recognised qualification accredited by the Association of Master Upholsterers and Soft Furnishers, designed for aspiring professionals.
